My Best Friend’s Wedding

Elizabeth & Brian’s Acadia National Park Wedding | Acadia National Park Photographer

My best friend since 4th grade and I had the honor of photographing her wedding. Cue the tears!

Liz and I met in elementary school and she has been my best friend ever since. You know that friend that knows an embarrassing amount about you and is so much more that a friend, but rather a sister? That’s Liz.

When she and Brian met I could tell it was special. Care, trust, respect are things I remember from the very beginning of their relationship. Liz didn’t have to share much, it was the happiness in her that meant the world.

After their proposal Liz and Brian began to plan their dream wedding in Vermont. Like so many, Covid-19 derailed their plans and put their wedding on hold. That didn’t stop these two from tying the knot though. After reevaluating their plans, they decided a micro wedding in Acadia National Park was exactly what they wanted and it ended up being a blessing in disguise. Small, intimate, and surrounded by their closest friends and family, Liz and Brian said their vows on the cliffs of Acadia National Park and cerebrated their way throughout Bar Harbor. It was the perfect wedding, perfectly them, and perfectly unique for their wants and needs.

It was the honor of a lifetime to photograph Liz and Brian’s wedding, and I am so grateful that they chose me, and Acadia National Park to share their wedding with. And you might just recognize their handsome officiant too!
